Rates are brackets, not fixed packs. Below ten people, buy individual copies — it is the same key. The discount is not a volume rebate; the marginal cost of a seat is zero. It is priced against the admin that disappears: one email, one invoice, one key, one support relationship instead of thirty.

The Vocula column is the whole cost. The Wispr Flow columns repeat every year. List prices read on 21 August 2026 from each vendor's own pricing page, showing both of Wispr Flow's rates rather than only the dearer one. Their Enterprise tier is quote-only and advertises volume discounts, so a large team may pay less than list. superwhisper's licence covers one person on unlimited devices. MacWhisper sells its own volume packs, in euros; we have not converted them. These are other companies' prices and they may change them — if one has moved, tell us and the table gets corrected.
What you are actually buying
- Activation
- There is nothing to activate. You paste one line into Settings → Licence. Nothing is contacted, then or ever.
- The key itself
- A signature your Mac checks by itself, so it works with the network off — on the day you buy it and in ten years. There is no server that can go away.
- Seats
- The licence says how many people it covers. Nothing counts installs and nothing reports back. We tell you what you bought and leave it there.
- Updates
- Every Vocula 1.x release is included, for ever. If there is ever a 2.0 it is a new purchase, and your 1.x keeps working untouched.
- Trial
- Thirty days of the entire app before you pay. After that it caps at ten dictations a day until you buy — and it never adds anything to your text.
- Refunds
- By email, no questions. A refunded key keeps working; there is no kill switch in the app, and you can read the source and see that for yourself.
What a team licence is not. No admin console, no SSO, no usage dashboard, no MDM package. There is nothing to administer because nothing reports anywhere, and the key is pasted once per Mac by hand. If your procurement requires SOC 2 or a signed BAA, we have neither and are not going to imply otherwise. What we can give a security reviewer is the ten-minute check and the source.
Why not just build it yourself?
You can. Vocula is GPL-3.0, and a competent developer can clone it and make a licensed build in an afternoon. The price exists because for almost everybody, paying is cheaper than that afternoon — and because a GPL app has to fund itself from the people for whom it is not.
